Safeguarding at Humanitas Learning
At Humanitas Learning, the safety and well-being of our students is at the centre of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment for every student.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DLS) is James Sherrard who has completed extensive training with the Tutors' Association.
Our Safeguarding Commitment
Thorough Screening: All Humanitas Learning tutors undergo rigorous background checks, including Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, to ensure the safety and suitability of all individuals working with our students.
Extensive Experience: Our team boasts thousands of hours of experience in implementing and adhering to the highest safeguarding standards and best practices.
Continuous Professional Development: All our tutors participate in regular safeguarding training courses provided by The Tutors' Association. These courses keep our tutors updated on the latest safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practices.
Confidentiality and Support: We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all student information. We also provide a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable discussing any concerns they may have.
Open Communication: We encourage open communication between parents, students, and tutors. We believe that a strong partnership between all parties is essential for the well-being of our students.
